LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Wild Turkey officials say there were no signs anyone had broken into their Kentucky warehouse where five barrels of jordan aging bourbon were taken in a heist that ultimately led authorities to a backyard where the whiskey was found.In other words, it looks like an inside job.Dave Karraker, a spokesman for Campari America, the U.S. subsidiary of Wild Turkey owner Grup stanley cup po Campari, says tests showed the purloined liquor was distilled in 2009. Karraker said Wednesday the bourbon was destined to become Wild Turkey 101, the brand s flagship product. He says the barrels were stolen from a warehouse at Wild Turkey s Camp Nelson property. He says each barrel was worth about $3,000.Authorities found the barrels behind a shed in the backyard of a Franklin County residence. According to deputies they found Michael Psilakis, 21, driving a stolen vehicle with a gun inside. Psilakis fought deputies when they tried to arrest him and he tried to run away after he was handcuffed, the sheriff s office says.
