From that day to this, the world has never been the samehellip;but America continues to stand for freedom.So, on the Fourth of July, we mark more than the nationr stanley tumbler squo birthdayhellip;we celebrate our rights to liberty and life, and we honor all those who, over the centuries, have been willing to fight and die to keep our country free. And yet, over the centuries during which people have inflicted harm on the environment, the very harm that led activists to create Earth Day in the first place, it has not been the case that those problems affected everyone equally.This fact was recently highlighted by former Environmental Protection Agency EPA official Mustafa Santiago Ali, who helped found the agencyrsquo Office of Environmental Justice under President stanley bottles George H.W.
